What engines are there to choose from?

Although a diesel engine may soon be available, right now the 2019 Jeep Wrangler comes in two gasoline-powered engines. The first is a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine gives you the option of a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The other option is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This engine is offered on all trim levels and comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A four-wheel-drive option is available with either option if you so choose.

What are the notable features of the Jeep Wrangler?

There are five trims available for the Jeep Wrangler each coming with a boatload of features. The base-level trim is the Sport, and it comes with 17-inch steel wheels, a full-size spare tire, skid plates, and tow hooks. Also coming standard are removable full metal doors with crank windows, manual mirrors and locks, cruise control, air conditioning, cloth upholstery, and a one-piece folding rear seat. Tech equipment for the Sports comes in the form of a 5-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Bluetooth, a rearview camera, and an eight-speaker sound system with USB port and an auxiliary audio jack. The Sport S trim builds on the Sport’s features by adding alloy wheels, air conditioning, automatic headlights, heated power mirrors, power windows and locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and sun visors with vanity mirrors. The mid-level Sahara comes in a four-door configuration and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, upgraded brakes, automatic headlights, and automatic climate control. The Sahara also comes with an updated version of the Uconnect system with a 7-inch touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Also available is a full-time four-wheel drive with a lockable center differential. The Moab adds to the Sahara by adding mud-terrain tires, LED exterior lighting, rock rails, a steel front bumper, black-painted exterior trim, the full-time four-wheel-drive system, keyless entry, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The interior is decked out in a premium leather upholstery, and the Moab features such safety equipment as blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors. The most off-road capable of all the Wranglers is the Rubicon, and it features 17-inch alloy wheels, special off-road tires, a steel front bumper, electronic front and lockable rear differentials, rock rails, and an electronically disconnection front roll bar.

What are some of the safety features?

The Jeep Wrangler comes with an Advanced Safety Grup, which includes some of the most advanced safety systems on the market today. Included is a Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection system that uses radar to detect other vehicles in your area. With these two systems working together, they will alert you if another vehcile is traveling in one of your blind spots and also warn you when there are other vehicles in your path when backing up. It also includes is a Rear Park Assist System that uses sonar sensors located in the rear bumper to detect obstacles behind you, it then sounds an alarm when you get close to a potential hazard when parallel parking.
